The specifications below describe the watch we release—not the average unchecked watch that leaves the factory. Every allocated unit must pass our stated visual, mechanical and Witschi timing criteria before it is submitted for customer QC.
As VSF’s largest core distribution partner, RealVSFactory holds priority allocation and direct replacement access across current GMT-Master II production. The practical advantage is simple: faster sourcing, internal filtering before customer QC and immediate replacement access when a unit does not meet our release standard.

1. Bezel Execution & Optical Architecture
- Red/Blue (BLRO) Ceramic Insert: The “Pepsi” bezel is notoriously the most difficult ceramic to manufacture. VSF’s current batch executes a masterclass in bi-colour firing, delivering the correct deep cherry-red to navy-blue tones. It eliminates the “speed bumps” at the 6 and 18 transitions and features correct UV reactivity (the red sector fluoresces appropriately under 365nm UV light).
- True Platinum-PVD Infill: The recessed 24-hour numerals and graduations use a genuine platinum-PVD application rather than flat silver-coloured paint. This produces the fine, slightly granular metallic texture expected from a properly executed ceramic insert.
- 24-Position Bezel Action: Every released unit is checked for crisp, evenly tensioned detents, correct triangle alignment and no perceptible back-play during normal handling. Spongy rotation or obvious zero-marker misalignment is rejected before customer QC.
- Dual-AR Cyclops: The date aperture drops into a deep black field under angled light, producing the correct Black Hole effect instead of the milky or blue-hazed appearance found on lower-tier crystals. Magnification, edge distortion and Cyclops positioning are rigorously checked.
2. Dial Printing, Hands & Date Display
- Raised Wet-Ink Printing: The gloss-black dial carries the saturated printing profile collectors call “wet ink,” with controlled font weight, clean letter edges and consistent spacing across the certification text.
- Hand and Centre-Pinion Finishing: The hour, minute, seconds and the signature red GMT hand are inspected under macro magnification for clean polishing and controlled edges. The central hand stack uses a finished capped pinion rather than an exposed hollow centre.
- Lume Application: Hour markers and hands are checked for even luminous filling and a consistent blue-emitting glow without visible spill or contaminated edges.
- DW and Rehaut Alignment: Multiple single- and double-digit dates are checked for visible vertical or lateral date-wheel bias. The rehaut coronet, engraving, hour markers, Cyclops and bezel triangle are assessed together in the same frontal axis.
3. Dandong DD3285 & Unit-Level Timing QC
- True CHS Flyer-GMT Architecture: The Dandong DD3285 uses the correct modern GMT hand stack. The local 12-hour hand moves independently in one-hour increments while the 24-hour GMT hand remains on reference time. The date follows the local-hour hand across midnight.
- 72-Hour Power-Reserve Validation: Our current DD3285 production batch has been validated through repeated full-wind-to-stop run-down testing, reaching a documented 72-hour benchmark.
- Actual-Watch Witschi Proof: The specific watch allocated to the order is measured on our professional Witschi equipment. Customer QC includes the actual rate, amplitude and beat error, with an approximate pre-shipment target of -6/+6 seconds per day in the recorded bench position.
4. 904L Steel Hardware & Jubilee Bracelet
- 40 mm 904L-Grade Chassis: The case and bracelet are constructed from factory-specified solid 904L Oystersteel, featuring clearly separated brushed and polished surfaces and correctly proportioned crown guards.
- Tight SEL Fit: The solid end links are checked for even lug gaps, correct seating height and the slight visual step-down expected beneath the lug horns.
- 5-Link Jubilee Bracelet: Features correctly proportioned semi-circular links with high-polish center sections and brushed outer links. Every Jubilee link receives edge chamfering to remove the raw, knife-like edges commonly found on lower-grade bracelets, delivering supreme wrist comfort.
- Oysterlock Clasp and Easylink: Fitted with the robust Oysterlock safety clasp. Checked for positive closure, clean release tension, and smooth engagement of the 5mm comfort-extension mechanism.
5. Factory Pressure Test & Release Standard
- 5 ATM Factory Batch Testing: Current VSF production completes a factory static-pressure protocol to 5 ATM before entering our allocation channel. This is a tested factory release benchmark, not an unverified waterproof estimate added by a drop-ship dealer.
- Unit-Level Customer QC: The allocated watch is documented through high-resolution dial, date, Cyclops, bezel, rehaut, SEL and clasp images, together with DD3285 function video and its actual Witschi timing result.
- Priority Replacement Access: A unit that fails our internal screen is not submitted for customer approval. If the customer rejects a watch after QC, another current-production unit can be allocated through our direct VSF replacement channel.
- Two-Year Movement Warranty: Every released watch is backed by a two-year limited warranty covering qualifying internal DD3285 movement failures under normal use. Detailed coverage and exclusions are stated in the FAQ below.

Q: Can I verify the watch via Video Call before shipping?
A: Yes. Because we hold physical priority stock, clients can request a live video call via WhatsApp to inspect their specific allocated unit. You can verify the bezel colour transition, UV reactivity, Jubilee bracelet finish, and watch the DD3285 running on our Witschi machine in real-time before dispatch.
Q: Is this the “Pepsi” on Jubilee or Oyster?
A: This is the 126710BLRO-0001 on the 5-link Jubilee bracelet. The Oyster bracelet variant is designated as the -0002 reference. Both configurations share the exact same watch head.
Q: Are the colours on the Pepsi bezel accurate? Do they look purple or brown?
A: VSF has largely solved the historical bezel issues. The current VSF batch delivers a highly accurate deep cherry-red to navy-blue transition. It avoids the washed-out pink or overly brownish-red tones seen on earlier replica generations, and reacts appropriately to UV light.
Q: Is the red/blue ceramic transition smooth, or does it have visible speed bumps?
A: The VSF BLRO insert is rigorously checked at both the 6 and 18 transition points. Released units must show a clean, level ceramic surface without a perceptible raised ridge, together with consistent platinum-PVD numeral filling.
Q: Does the Cyclops produce the Black Hole effect?
A: Yes. The Dual-AR Cyclops produces a deep black date-aperture contrast under angled light. The allocated watch is checked for magnification, edge distortion, and date-wheel centring.
Q: Does the DD3285 have a true jumping local-hour hand and a tested 72-hour reserve?
A: Yes. The local 12-hour hand adjusts independently in one-hour increments while the GMT hand remains on reference time. Our current DD3285 batch has also completed repeated full-wind run-down testing to a documented 72-hour benchmark.
Q: What Witschi timing information will be shown in my QC?
A: QC includes the actual watch’s rate, amplitude and beat error—not only a cropped seconds-per-day number. Our approximate release target is -6/+6 seconds per day in the recorded bench position, provided the amplitude, beat error and trace remain healthy.
Q: Are the Jubilee bracelet edges sharp?
A: No. Every Jubilee link is edge-chamfered and polished before release. We also inspect the underside, clasp edges, SEL fit and link articulation so the bracelet does not carry the raw or sharp wrist feel associated with lower-tier executions.
Q: Is the 5 ATM figure a factory estimate or an actual pressure test?
A: The current VSF production batch is factory pressure-tested to 5 ATM before allocation. This is a static sealed-case release test rather than an ISO dive certification. The winding crown must remain fully screwed down, and water ingress is not covered by the movement warranty.
Q: What exactly does the two-year warranty cover?
A: The two-year warranty is limited to the internal DD3285 movement. It covers qualifying failures of the automatic-winding system, gear train, timekeeping, GMT jumping-hour mechanism and date-setting functions caused by manufacturing or assembly defects under normal use.
The warranty does not cover water ingress or moisture damage, accidental impact or drop damage, external hardware damage or component detachment caused by force, cosmetic wear, bracelet, clasp, bezel, crystal or case damage, operation with the crown left unscrewed, or any watch opened, modified or repaired by an unauthorised third party.
